Single doshas and Biotypes
Ayurveda is based on the principle that we are all different. Ayurveda has categorized people into seven body types. Three predominate in Vata, Pitta, Kapha; the duo doshas Vata-Pitta, Vata-Kapha, Pitta-Kapha, and the tridoshic body, which has equal parts of the three doshas. I will not talk about the tridoshic constitution because I have not met any tridoshic person.
Doble doshas
Vata-Pitta
They usually have broken hair.
Its character alternates from Vata to Pitta.
When under stress they can be somewhat explosive.
They can be unstable as you lack the earth in your constitution.
They are very intense people, which can be very good if their intensity is directed towards positive things.
Poor circulation and love of heat are characteristic of Vata but their Pitta nature places limits on their ability to withstand heat.
Pitta makes you love food but Vata has trouble digesting food, when they overeat.
Pitta Kapha
They like to do vigorous exercises.
Ability to withstand extreme climates.
They are very successful as they combine the stability of Kapha with the adaptability of Pitta.
Pitta metabolism balances the body's strong Kapha, which aids in good health.
Pitta's temperament is controlled by Kapha's prudence which makes them good mental health.
The ease with which they achieve success can lead them to be somewhat arrogant.
Vata Kapha
It can be confused with a Pitta as they have very similar physical characteristics.
Its lack of fire can manifest in digestive problems such as constipation or respiratory diseases that produce excess mucus.
They are incredibly meticulous in what they do and sometimes exaggerate.
They may tend to jump to conclusions without prior investigation.
There are times or days when they can be very open and have light conversations, and other times or days that you can be deep and mysterious.
The lack of fire makes it difficult to adapt to new scenarios.
VK have in common that they are cold. They have more need for heat than those who are only Vata.
They have a very emotional nature.
