Almond hummus

Este hummus es perfecto si estas en una dieta paleo y si no te gusta desperdiciar comida.

This hummus is perfect if you're on a paleo diet and don't like wasting food.

If you make your almond milk, which is highly recommended, you can use the pulp you strained to make this delicious hummus.

Ingredients⠀

1 1/2 cups of almond pulp or soak and peel almonds

Three tablespoons of olive oil

One teaspoon of cumin seeds⠀

One teaspoon of ghee or olive oil

Two cloves of garlic

Three tablespoons lemon or to taste⠀

Two tablespoons of tahini

Salt and black pepper to taste

One pinch of chili powder (optional)

1 to 2 tablespoons of water

Instructions

Fry the garlic with the ghee; when the garlic is almost ready, add the cumin seeds and toast for a few seconds.⠀

Put all ingredients in your food processor or blender and blend until desired consistency.

Serve with carrots, celery, or your favorite gluten-free bread.⠀

Enjoy!⠀

*** If you don't have tahini, toast five tablespoons of sesame and add it to the mixture, the flavor will vary a bit, but you don't have to stop enjoying the hummus for one ingredient.⠀

***The recommended portion to eat is approximately 1/4 cup for Pitta and Kapha doshas.⠀⠀
